perspective grid

Palm here's the link for the psd file for the perspective grid
here's how to use it:
1. select the pattern layer, crtl+T to transform
2. right click and choose perspective
3. drag the corner to transform the pattern to shape
4. choose the grid layer and do the same transform to match the
pattern
5. use the grid layer as base for other pattern

here are some example I done, you can just use these.
Remember, the pattern is base on square, so you can flip the
grid 90 degree (distort the top) and it would still work

A4 Brief Statement: INTERACTIVE ORNAMENTS

INTERACTIVE ORNAMENTS
Can interaction between ornaments and users create a new identity for that which the ornament ordains/ can it create place from space? The project aims to study and critque on the conventional relationship between ornaments and that which it decorates by asking the question, 'what comes first, the ornament or the subject which ornaments decorate? Emphasis is also given on contextual forces that affects the way we see and perceive of ornaments.
Second attempt of linkage system after the test without water seem to work quite well.
The key is to reinforced the metal linkage with larger wire.
and arrange the alignment of motor and hydraulic pump.
it should reduce shear forced
from motor circular motion.

Right now I have been encountering machinery problem
the servo motors are too strong and broke the metal wire linkage, including its nylon gears.
luckily i divided layers of mechanism, so when the hydraulic breaks phidgets sensor and controllers still save.
Still try to find someways to replace the broken linkages.
